The client’s website had been created in static HTML back in 2000 and lacked user interactivity. The site had become a jumbled, unorganized dumping ground of outdated information. The client wanted to enable online registration and payment for their training courses. They chose the Sitefinity CMS platform and needed visual design, content development and guidance for their web development team in India.
Working with the client, together we planned specific goals for the home page. This helped me create a visual design that guided the user to quickly click. I ranked the elements in my design based on the clients' business objectives. The new home page illuminates for the user what actions to take: to contact ioKinetic, to register for a course, to request a quote.
The prototypes defined user engagement, ecommerce stages and an updated visual brand. Wireframing helped define for the marketing team what new content was needed. The web developers and I maintained daily communication working together to learn the Sitefinity technology. .
The website is now responsive, uses online forms for engagement, online registration for events, ecommerce to sell courses, user analytics, and content updates on all client services.
